Melissa Wahl is the recipient of the district's Excellence in Education Award for March 2023.
Wahl is a toddler teacher at the Ladue Early Childhood Center; she first joined Ladue Schools in 1998 as a teacher of PACT, or Parent and Child Together, classes at the LECC.
"Melissa goes above and beyond in every aspect of supporting students," said LECC Director Dr. Stacy Carlock.
"She is instrumental in running our Parent and Child Together classes. She mentors new staff and is always supportive and makes herself available. She is flexible and dependable and willing to always go the extra mile to support students, parents, and staff at the LECC."
The Excellence in Education Award recognizes outstanding Ladue Schools teachers and faculty and is awarded to one person each year at every school.
