Theatre Takes Center Stage: LHWHS Presents The Play That Goes Wrong – High School Edition

The stage is set, the lights are up, and… the set might just fall down!

This fall, Ladue Horton Watkins High School’s Theatre Department—also known as Ladue Honor Thespian Troupe 1109—invites the community to experience the hilariously chaotic world of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields.

Three performances at the LHWHS Performing Arts Center:

Thursday, October 23 | 7 p.m. - Thursday Night Tickets

Saturday, October 25 | 7 p.m. - Saturday Night Tickets

Sunday, October 26 | 1 p.m. - Sunday Matinee Tickets

Rating: PG for mild language and themes
Running Time: Approximately 2 hours, including a 15-minute intermission

The Cornley Drama Society is determined to stage a 1920s murder mystery—but things don’t exactly go according to plan. Collapsing scenery, disappearing props, tangled lines, and well-intentioned actors create a whirlwind of laughter and surprises. Through every hilarious mishap, the show goes on, proving that sometimes the best theatre happens when everything goes wrong in all the right ways.

Tickets are available now on the LHWHS Box Office websiteBring your entire family!

Join us for a night (or afternoon) of laughter, talent, and the kind of delightful chaos that makes live theatre unforgettable!
