Senior Elle Bryant Receives Rosemary Zander Award

Ladue Horton Watkins High School senior Elle Bryant is a recipient of the 2024 Rosemary Zander Award, given by the Special School District.

The award recognizes students for their accomplishments in academics, arts, athletics, communications, vocational training, employment, independent living skills, community service, and extracurricular activities.

Bryant holds a 3.75 cumulative GPA and has participated in extracurricular activities that include symphonic orchestra, the LHWHS National Honor Society, and the Fred Saigh Leadership Academy.

She also has demonstrated compassion and willingness to serve others by volunteering to work at a local senior living facility, involving herself in church activities, and working at multiple school events.

Her passions for music and fashion have become forums for creative expression and helped her build self-confidence as she navigates communication challenges.

“Her resilience and perseverance, particularly in the face of personal loss, are embedded within her remarkable character,” said Angela Kraft, speech language pathologist at LHWHS.

“Elle's many accomplishments and commitment to excellence embodies the values of academic achievement, community service, and resilience.”

Bryant plans to attend Maryville University and pursue a degree in music therapy this fall.
