LMS Science Olympiad Shines at Inaugural Washington University Tournament

Congratulations to the Ladue Middle School Science Olympiad program for channeling the same determination and excellence displayed by the Ladue boys’ soccer team this season as they competed in the first-ever Washington University Science Olympiad Tournament. With three teams (45 students total) representing Ladue Schools, our students tackled 23 challenging events against solid competition, including Wydown, Sperreng, and John Burroughs.

The results? A stunning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place sweep of the tournament!

  •   9 of 23 third-place medals

Additionally, all three Ladue teams excelled:

  • The Blue Team medaled in 20 of 23 events.
  • The Rams Team medaled in 15 of 23 events.
  • The White Team led the charge, medaling in all 23 events to win the tournament outright!

This incredible achievement is a testament to our Science Olympiad students' hard work, talent, and teamwork. Congratulations to their coaches, Michael Clay and Hannah Hayer-McLeod, for their continued dedication and for leading our students to victory.

A heartfelt congratulations to our LMS Science Olympiad teams—you’ve etched your own chapter in history!
