LMS RoboRams Shine at First Robotics Tournament of the Year

The Ladue Middle School (LMS) RoboRams had a remarkable start to their season at the season’s first robotics tournament, hosted by Troy Buchanan High School. With four teams competing, the RoboRams showcased their exceptional skills and teamwork, earning accolades and delivering impressive results.

Three teams reached the semifinals with a friendly competition between the Ladue teams to secure a spot in the finals. Ultimately, two Ladue teams—Team 69955C and Team 69955A—faced off in an exciting championship match. Team 69955C triumphed, taking home the tournament championship title.

Team 69955C, also known as “3% Sauce,” achieved the prestigious Triple Crown of Robotics, winning the Tournament Championship, Skills Championship, and Excellence Award. The Excellence Award is the top honor in robotics competitions, recognizing teams that excel across all categories, including engineering design, team interviews, and overall performance. This incredible achievement secured their place in the State Championship in March.

Twenty-two students from LMS, named below, competed in the first tournament of the year and look to continue their success this weekend as the school hosts its first tournament of the season.
