LHWHS Students Compete at HOSA State Leadership Conference

Thirty-six high school students represented Ladue Schools at the HOSA – Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference in late March.

More than 950 students from across Missouri competed in a variety of events including knowledge-based tests and skill performance events.

Of the 36 who attended, 15 LHWHS students scored well enough to earn an invitation to the International Leadership Conference in Dallas this summer.

The 15 qualifiers include:

  • Zahra Khan, 2nd place, Medical Reading
  • Vincent Lim, 3rd place, Nutrition
  • Lakshmi Madala, Top 20 finisher in Healthcare Issues Exam
  • Akhil Nadithe, 4th place, Healthcare Issues Exam
  • Alveena Rahim, 3rd place, Human Growth and Development
  • Jenna Song, 2nd place, Medical Innovation
  • Alexandra Tsygankov, 1st place, Research Poster
  • Cindy Yan, 2nd place, Epidemiology
  • Annie Zhao, 1st place, Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking
  • Anthony Zhao, 1st place, Respiratory Therapy
