Noah Temple, a Ladue Horton Watkins High School (LHWHS) senior, recently participated in the Wharton School's highly esteemed Leadership in the Business World program.
The Leadership in the Business World program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School offered students invaluable hands-on experience through case studies, teamwork, and presentations.
Noah, a standout student in both the Ladue Schools DECA–an Association of Marketing Students and Catalyst programs, expanded his understanding of entrepreneurship, financial planning, and corporate leadership by attending the summer program.
This opportunity reinforced his commitment to his social enterprise, Junior Java.
"I was honored to represent Ladue Schools on such an international platform,” Noah reflected. “This experience not only enhanced my understanding of business but reaffirmed my dedication to contributing to our community through Junior Java."
Noah founded Junior Java several years ago; the company sells specialty coffee and tea to help bring education equity to children around the world. They donate to organizations that teach kids the Coffee Kidz Program, a dynamic semester-long course for middle schoolers that combines critical thinking with real-world business experience.
While attending the Leadership in the Business World program, Noah had the opportunity to share his business model with other attendees and provide samples to his lecture class, which was met with great enthusiasm. In addition, Noah will soon be featured on the Wharton Global Youth podcast, highlighting his journey and accomplishments.
"Noah’s participation in the Wharton Leadership in the Business World program exemplifies his dedication, leadership, and drive to make a difference,” stated Jessica Kennedy, LHWHS DECA and Catalyst advisor. “We are incredibly proud of him and can’t wait to see how he continues to apply these experiences to benefit Ladue and beyond."
The Ladue School District congratulates Noah Temple for his outstanding achievements and looks forward to watching the impact he will continue to make in the future.
