LHWHS Freshman Adelyn Witt Earns Top Honors at State Music Festival

Ladue Schools is thrilled to spotlight the outstanding accomplishments of Adelyn (Addie) Witt, a freshman at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, who recently achieved an exceptional honor in the world of student music performance.

Addie participated in the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) State Music Festival, held annually on the University of Missouri–Columbia campus. This prestigious event draws thousands of the state’s most talented high school musicians each spring, where students are evaluated on solo and small ensemble performances.

Representing LHWHS in the State Solo and Small Ensemble category, Addie delivered a standout violin solo that earned her a Gold Rating—the highest accolade awarded at the festival.

"Addie received positive feedback from the judges on her Gold Rating violin solo performance," said Sarah Heuermann, Director of Orchestra at LHWHS. "She is a wonderful musician and deserves this recognition!"

We are incredibly proud of Addie’s dedication to her craft and remarkable achievement at the state level. Congratulations, Addie, on this well-deserved honor!
