The Ladue Schools community came together once again for a memorable evening at Ladue Horton Watkins High School during this year’s Ladue Night Lights event. Entirely student-led, the night celebrated inclusion, school spirit, and community while donating an impressive $2,500 for Best Buddies through raffles, auctions, and donations.

The event was guided by a dedicated student board of juniors and seniors:

• Kate Lackey (senior) and Maddox Wolf (senior) – Event Directors
• Allie Glidewell (senior) – Fundraising and Public Relations Chair
• Emily Rosen (senior) – Buddy Coordinator
• Manon Hernandez (junior) and Josh Brown (junior) – Entertainment Chairs

For Director Maddox Wolf, leading this event was a meaningful way to build connections. “I chose to direct Ladue Night Lights because I wanted to help create a place where everyone feels included and celebrated. Football has always been something that brings people together, and this game gives every participant a chance to shine! My biggest hope is that this event gets bigger and bigger every year until everyone is here, and this is a big thing on everyone’s calendar.”

Superintendent Dr. Jim Wipke praised the unified football game, noting, “Watching our students and families come together for this event was another shining example of how great the Ladue Schools community is. This event has become one of our district’s most cherished traditions. I also want to thank Dr. Michael Maclin, Superintendent of Schools for the Special School District, for joining us and celebrating alongside our community.”

Thanks to the hard work of student leaders, adult sponsors, and the support of the community, Ladue Night Lights continues to grow as a tradition that represents The Ladue Way—Love, Appreciation, Dedication, and Uplift Everyone.
