Ladue Middle School’s RoboRams Dominate State Championship, Make History

Ladue Middle School’s RoboRams teams made history this past weekend at the Missouri VEX Robotics State Championship in Kansas City, delivering an unforgettable performance and securing Ladue’s first-ever state robotics title.

All four RoboRams teams battled through a day of intense competition, ultimately finishing in the Top 15 of the round-robin qualifying matches—an incredible achievement. When it came time for the final alliance selections, 3% Sauce teamed up with Chick Fil-Asians, while The Outsiders and 100% Cooked joined forces with alliance partners from other schools.

The RoboRams took home the most prestigious awards of the tournament, with 3% Sauce completing the “Triple Crown” by the Skills Challenge for best individual performance and the Excellence Award for the highest overall honor of the competition. In addition, the Outsiders earned the Judges’ Award, recognizing the team that impressed the event’s judges most.
