The Ladue School District is proud to announce that Garon Agrawal, a Ladue Horton Watkins High School senior, has been honored with the 2025 Outstanding Senior in French Award by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).
This distinguished award is given annually to only one student per school nationwide, recognizing academic excellence and an exceptional commitment to the study of the French language and Francophone culture.
Students are nominated for this award based on various criteria, including sustained academic achievement—maintaining an “A” average in French and a “B” average overall—and meaningful participation in French-related extracurricular activities. These may include involvement in French Club, the National French Contest, travel or study abroad programs, and National French Honor Society membership.
Garon was nominated by LHWHS World Languages teacher Bridget Milford, who is recognized for cultivating a dynamic and inspiring environment for language learning.
This achievement highlights his individual excellence and reflects the strength of the World Languages program at Ladue Schools.
Please join us in congratulating Garon Agrawal on this outstanding accomplishment and thanking Ms. Milford for her exemplary dedication to language education and her students.
