Ladue Schools is proud to celebrate Nina Goebel, a talented young artist at Ladue Fifth Grade Center (FGC) whose artwork has been selected for inclusion in the Saint Louis County Department of Public Health’s 2025 Healthy Living Calendar.
Her piece, "Eat Healthy Foods, and Grow Tall Like a Giraffe," was chosen from over 700 student entries and will be prominently featured in July.
Nina’s artwork creatively illustrates the importance of healthy eating habits, featuring beautifully drawn fruits and vegetables alongside a giraffe. Her engaging and imaginative design aligns with the calendar’s mission to promote healthy living among St. Louis County residents.
The 2025 Healthy Living Calendar Contest invited students in grades K-12 across St. Louis County to submit artwork that reflected one of six key wellness themes, including:
- Healthy hygiene
- Staying physically active
- Positive stress management
- Healthy eating
- Saying no to drugs, alcohol, vaping, and smoking
- Building healthy friendships
As one of the top 13 winners, Nina received a full-size poster of her artwork, a gift card, and a prize package. St. Louis County Public Health representatives came to award her during art class with Mrs. Brenna Roth, and her work is featured on the St. Louis County website and YouTube channel.
We are incredibly proud of Nina for inspiring others to lead healthier lives through her art. Congratulations!
