The Ladue School District is pleased to announce that Hannah Behr has been named the K-12 Real World Learning Coordinator in the Curriculum and Instruction Department. This is a new role for the 2026-27 school year, aligns with our district goal of expanding real-world learning, college and career pathways, and personalized instruction to ensure success and growth for all students. This vital role will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive district-wide real-world learning system designed to deliver innovative, individualized, and inquiry-based programming across all grade levels.

Behr is currently serving as an instructional coach at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. Her position is being reallocated to a Real World Learning Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year.

Behr will be responsible for providing leadership in key strategic areas:

  • Program Implementation: She will collaborate with district and building leadership to embed real-world learning into the K–12 curriculum and instructional practices, supporting experiential learning opportunities.

  • Pathway Expansion: She will increase access and equitable participation in career pathways. This includes coordinating and expanding course offerings and student participation in programs such as job shadowing, internships, workforce placement, and more.

  • Partnership Development: She will establish and sustain mutually beneficial partnerships with higher education institutions, local businesses, industry professionals, and community organizations to support postsecondary success. This work includes partnering with the Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) and the Ladue Alumni Association.

  • Outcomes and Evaluation: She will ensure students graduate with meaningful career-connected experiences, postsecondary readiness, and market-value assets (MVA). She will use data to monitor and evaluate program quality, student participation, and outcomes.

Behr brings a wealth of experience to this position. Before her time at Ladue, she taught at St. Louis Community College and worked as an engineer. She began her career in the Ladue School District as a high school Math teacher in 2011. Behr has also served as an engineering teacher, as the Practical Arts Department Chair, and as the PLTW coordinator, bringing Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to the district. Her dedication to student readiness is further demonstrated by her recent dissertation, titled  "Correlating Student  Success-Ready Indicators with Postsecondary Achievement: A Study of MSIP 6 in Missouri ."

Behr is currently attending Saint Louis University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, with anticipated completion in May 2026.
