Ladue Schools is celebrating the achievements of five Ladue Horton Watkins High School students in the recent Academy of Science - St. Louis regional K-12 Science Fair Honors Division Competition!
Congratulations to Ananya Goli (freshman) and John “Jack” Saleeby (junior), finalists in the Honors Division! This places them among the top 10 students from six area schools, recognized for collegiate-level work.
Ananya’s project, “A Computational Approach: Revealing New Targets in Metastatic Melanoma,” and John’s, “Examining the Relationships between Financial Literacy and Financial Outcomes among High School Students,” each earned a $500 Missouri MOST College Scholarship.

We also recognize semi-finalists Aiden Qian (junior), Elizabeth “Elle” Saleeby (freshman), and Celina Zhou (junior), whose work qualifies them for automatic entry as top projects in the regional Science Fair in April. All five students are eligible for special awards and scholarships, announced on the Science Fair website on May 6, 2025.
Notably, these students pursued their research independently, dedicating personal time and effort to explore complex scientific questions. This highlights their passion for learning and drive to expand knowledge.
