Dr. Jennifer Riesenmy Appointed Director of Student Services

We are pleased to share that the Ladue Schools Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Jennifer C. Riesenmy to serve as Director of Student Services, effective July 1, 2026.

In her new role, Dr. Riesenmy will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to ensure the efficient operation of all student services areas, including oversight of Tier III student support, federal programs, student enrollment, student discipline, and summer school programs. She will also play a pivotal role in ensuring equitable educational access and fostering a cohesive, inclusive culture across the district.

Dr. Riesenmy has extensive experience, serving in the Ladue School District for nearly three decades, most recently as the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion/Strategic Initiatives Coordinator since 2019. In this capacity, she spearheaded districtwide climate assessments and orchestrated teacher onboarding programs centered on culturally responsive practices. Her administrative experience also includes serving as the Assistant Principal at Old Bonhomme Elementary School and as the District Coordinator for English for Students of Other Languages (ESOL). Prior to her leadership roles, she was a dedicated educator within the district, serving as an ESOL teacher, math interventionist, and general education teacher since 1999. She also helped to spearhead the district’s “No Place for Hate” initiative.

In addition to her work in Ladue Schools, Dr. Riesenmy also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis, where she prepared future educators to navigate the sociocultural factors impacting literacy and student development.

Dr. Riesenmy holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Communication from Webster University and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership & Administration from Maryville University.

She has received prestigious recognition for her impact on education, including being named both the Ladue School District Teacher of the Year and the St. Louis Regional Teacher of the Year. She is also a recipient of the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award and the Ladue Schools Excellence in Education Award.

Dr. Jennifer Riesenmy will report to the Assistant Superintendent for Student and Community Services and will officially begin in her new role on July 1, 2026.
