Conway Elementary’s Katie McKenna Receives March’s Excellence in Education Award
Congratulations to Katie McKenna, an ESOL specialist at Conway Elementary, who received the district's Excellence in Education Award for March 2025 at the March 10 Board of Education meeting.
“She epitomizes what excellence in education means,” said Dr. Thomas Devitt, principal at Conway Elementary. “She means a lot for what she does for her kids and the staff. She’s that welcoming face for our families, just that sense of love and connection. Everyone just appreciates being around her and appreciates when she gets to support them.”
The Excellence in Education Award recognizes outstanding Ladue Schools teachers and faculty and is awarded monthly at each school.
