Award-Winning Storytelling: Ladue Schools Communications Earns National Honors
Telling the story of Ladue Schools with clarity is a team effort, and that effort was just spotlighted on a national stage! Three of our district’s publications from the 2025–26 school year have officially been honored by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) in their annual Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards.
The NSPRA awards recognize outstanding education communications that creatively and effectively connect school districts with their communities. Out of competitive entries from across the country, the Ladue Schools Communications Department brought home top honors across three distinct categories:
- Award of Excellence (Special Purpose Publication): Ladue Schools Athletic Hall of Fame Program Book
- Award of Merit (Newsletters): Ladue Schools Athletic Link Newsletter
- Honorable Mention (Newsletters): Ladue Schools e-Connect Digital Newsletter
Whether through capturing the historic milestones of our inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class or delivering critical, transparent district updates through our Link print newsletter and e-Connect digital newsletter, these publications play a vital role in keeping our community deeply engaged.
This national recognition directly underscores our district's commitment to providing timely, accurate, and engaging communication. By celebrating the triumphs of our students, staff, and alumni, our communications team ensures that the excellence of our schools is felt by every student, family, staff member, and partner in the district.
This incredible achievement is the result of the tireless dedication of our three-person communications department: Kimberly McKenzie (Director of Communications), Laura Shea (Communications Specialist/Webmaster), and Travis Green (Communications Coordinator). From layout and design to reporting and digital strategy, this team works around the clock to uphold "The Ladue Way" of excellence in storytelling.
