The information below includes highlights from the Ladue Schools Board of Education Business Meeting on August 11, 2025–this summary is an unofficial record. Upon request, meeting minutes are also available for viewing at the Administrative Center following Board approval (typically two weeks after the meeting).

Board of Education Work Session (in-person attendance only)

The Board of Education issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional services to support the Superintendent search. On August 11, 2025, the Board reviewed the evaluation results of the RFPs submitted. The goal of this meeting was to discuss the scored firms, consider their ability to meet the District’s stated requirements, and determine next steps in the interview and selection process. The top three firms with the highest cumulative scores have been identified for further consideration.

Evaluation Process:

  • Proposals were scored on the following categories:
    • Executive Summary (10 points)
    • Experience and Qualifications (25 points)
    • Work Plan (25 points)
    • Cost (20 points)
    • References (10 points)
    • Client Satisfaction (10 points)

Discussion Items:

  • Review of the scoring results and rationale for the top three firms.
     
  • Discussion of each firm’s ability to meet the requirements outlined in the RFP scope of work.
     
  • Consideration of each firm’s experience with superintendent searches in comparable districts.
  • Next steps 
    • Invite the top three firms to participate in formal interviews with the Board
    • Develop interview questions aligned with RFP priorities
    • Schedule interviews at an upcoming Board meeting work session on August 27, 2025
    • Following interviews, the Board will deliberate and select a firm to partner with in developing the Superintendent search plan and timeline.

UPCOMING MEETINGS

The next Board of Education meeting will be a Work Session (in-person attendance only) and will take place on Wednesday, August 27, at 6 p.m. All information regarding that meeting will be posted on the homepage of the Ladue Schools Diligent Community page.
