Student and Staff recognition:

Director of Communications Kimberly McKenzie and Old Bonhomme Choir Director Katie Solomon, along with the help of all Ladue schools’ choir directors, Leah Alrutz, Elizabeth Dalbey, Ruth Grollman, Jessica Nutt, Sarah Schwartz, and Danielle Sutherland, helped orchestrate a special performance from our talented students celebrating Music In Our Schools Month and School Board Appreciation Month.

Alongside their directors, our K-12 students performed two songs, including a beautiful rendition of “Thankful” for the Ladue Schools Board of Education. In keeping with tradition, the Board was also presented with cards and small tokens of appreciation (many were handmade) from each school as a part of the celebration. 

Board President's Remarks

• Reminded the community of the upcoming School Board election on April 7, noting there are four candidates: Kisha Lee, Pablo Flinn, Peter Gariepy, and Tim Reboulet. Meet the Candidate Night on March 30 at 6 p.m., hosted by the League of Women Voters, to help residents become informed voters.
• Encouraged attendance at all the upcoming events that will be held at the high school, including Steam Fest on April 8, Parent University on April 15, and Rams Around the World on April 29. 
• In honor of School Board Appreciation Month, thanks to fellow board members for their hard work over the last year, including during the Superintendent search. 

Superintendent’s Remarks

• Reflected on the wonderful start to the 4th quarter and all the celebrations to come throughout the district over the next couple of months. 
• Provided an update on the Superintendent transition with Dr. Geoff Macy as they both continue to attend many events together, including the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) event over Spring Break and a visit with Spoede Elementary during the first week back.
• Highlighted the recent ribbon-cutting events at the West Campus Athletic Facilities, signifying the official opening of the new tennis courts and softball/baseball field. Special shout-out to Kimberly McKenzie, director of Communications, who, along with her staff, put together another amazing event. 
• Expressed gratitude to the Board for the countless hours they have volunteered over the last year. None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts and work of our board members. Happy Board Appreciation Month. Thank you for your leadership, care, and support of the Ladue Schools community.

Spoede Elementary School Presentation

Issac Bjerk and Taylor Koenig presented a comprehensive update on Spoede Elementary’s School Improvement Plan. 

Safety & Security Presentation 

Dr. Geoff Macy reviewed the district’s safety & security initiatives for the 2025-26 school year. 

Cordogan Clark Presentation

Cordogan Clark provided an update on the new Administration Center detailing the site, massing, and space plan.
