Fine Art

Art permeates our culture and world. In order to intelligently interact with this critical aspect of our environment, students must have the background knowledge and skills to effectively observe, describe, and make informed decisions about a piece of art. Recognizing the wide variety of student interests, needs, and abilities, the Ladue School District provides avenues for artistic learning at all age levels. Through fine arts education, students’ academic careers and future lives are enriched as they become able to more fully experience their world. As they continue in their fine arts studies, students are provided opportunities to enhance creative development, producing bodies of work in the form of a product, portfolio, or performance.
