Why are you running for the Ladue Schools Board of Education?
I’m running for the Ladue Board of Education because our schools deserve steady leadership that puts students first, supports teachers, and partners with parents. With decades of experience in leadership, risk management, and strategic planning, I bring a calm, practical approach to complex challenges. My focus is simple: keep Ladue’s schools safe, strong, and excellent—academically, culturally, and fiscally—while preparing our students not just to succeed in school, but to thrive in life.
What do you think are key issues facing the Ladue Schools Board of Education in the next two or three years?
Over the next few years, the Ladue School Board will need to focus on maintaining academic excellence while navigating financial stewardship, staff recruitment and retention, evolving student needs and ever-changing technology. Ensuring school safety and preparedness, supporting student mental health, and thoughtfully integrating technology will remain critical. At the same time, the Board must strengthen trust through transparency, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making so Ladue continues to be a district, families are proud to support.
