LMS Students Compete in National MathCounts Competition

Last week, on May 12, the Missouri MathCounts state team competed in the national competition in Orlando, Florida. The four-student team consisted of three Ladue Middle School students and one Parkway student. The Ladue Schools mathletes are eighth graders Jason Ding, Stephen Jiang and seventh grader Anthony Wang.

As a team, the Missouri team (3/4 Ladue) placed 18th. Jason Ding placed 34th individually, and Stephen Jiang placed 39th. Congratulations to all of the students who competed!

The 224 national competitors represented all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, State Department schools and Department of Defense schools for a total of 56 teams.
