Alumnus Recognized for Work with St. Louis Mosaic Project

Congratulations to Ladue Horton Watkins High School alumnus Vin Ko for his recent recognition in entrepreneurialthinking.com! Vin is a 2005 graduate of Ladue Schools, and works with the St. Louis Mosaic Project, a regional initiative between the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the World Trade Center St. Louis. The group welcomes immigrants into the community to share talent, ideas and energy to drive innovation.

Old Bonhomme Science Fair Winners Headed to St. Louis Science Fair

Congratulations to the winners of the Old Bonhomme Science Fair! These students will participate in the Greater St. Louis Science Fair later this month at Queeny Park.

2nd Grade:
Sophie Baum and Emme Hirsch (2K)
Noah Murov (2K)

3rd Grade:
Amelia Drake (3M)
Brandon Barrett (3P)

4th Grade:
Oliver Stern (4P)

This year, 31 projects were submitted, and 14 of those were blue ribbon winners (1st place)!

LMS Orchestra & Choir Students Rock the Solo & Ensemble Festival

This past Saturday, the middle school music students rocked the St. Louis Suburban Music Educators Association’s Solo and Ensemble Festival!

Congratulations to the 44 7th and 8th grade orchestra students (all listed below) who participated in the festival. The orchestras were represented by 15 solos, six duos, three trios and six quartets!

Also, congratulations to the following 8th grade students who performed vocal solos! Jameson Falconer, Lilian Fisher, Julia Joseph and Ron Weiss received a Superior rating. Udonne Eke-Okoro and Alejandra Pinon-Dickey earned an Excellent rating.

“All of these students put in extra time and effort in their preparation, and I’m very proud of them,” Vocal Music Director for 8th Grade Choir Tom Lowery said.
