OASIS

OASIS is a tutoring program for adults over age 55. These volunteers choose the day, time and elementary school to provide one hour of reading instruction each week to a child in kindergarten through fourth grade. In addition to building reading skills, OASIS tutors build self-esteem for their students. The district provides training, materials and ongoing support.
